Operations Manager
Position Overview
The Operations Manager builds and manages lean, agile, and transparent organizational processes that provide the Zoe Toronto community with excellent and reliable care and protection. They support the Executive Director by overseeing HR and policy compliance, legal filings, database management, and communications. As a servant leader, they are attentive and responsive to the needs of microchurch workers and produce administrative solutions that are both rigorous and relational, upholding a reputation for operational excellence and accountability while offering customized relief and freedom to our faithful frontline workers.
Primary Responsibilities
Human Resources & Compliance
Oversee documentation for hiring and onboarding new employees
Uphold organizational policies, procedures, and legal compliance
Maintain healthy HR practices, including policy training, Paid Time Off, manager performance, and annual staff reviews
Philanthropy & Communications
Research and oversee grant application processes
Provide ministry reports to institutional and private donors
Compile organizational newsletter for community members
Manage website and social media accounts
Information Technology
Maintain and oversee the Annual Calendar, including all necessary filings
Manage Google Workspace and all organizational documents
Track key organizational metrics
Events & Facilities
Provide operational support for major organizational (non-microchurch) events (including insurance, refreshments, registration, etc.)
Maintain an updated facilities database and facilitate bookings for microchurches and programs as needed
Qualifications
Demonstrated excellence in project management
High-Level Proficiency in Google Sheets, both technically and aesthetically
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent planning and project management skills.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Asana.

Role Details
Part-Time (10-16 hours per week)
Primarily remote; on-site responsibilities in downtown Toronto 3x per year
Flexible hours, while maintaining a 24-hour response time during weekdays
Compensation: $18-23/hour
Contract ends April 30, 2026 (with the possibility of extension and a raise with strong performance)
We desire to fill this position by November 15, 2025
